I get annoyed with travel guides like Lonely Planet and Rough Guide, as they often mention little or nothing on the small travel destinations, which are usually the best parts of the holiday, and instead focus on the big, touristy resorts. The best travel spots always seem to be the ones you hear about through word of mouth, and wouldn't usually find out about. I made travel guides that you can fill in yourself as you go along, which can then be passed down to others. The elastic band binding allows you to swap and change destinations with other books, allowing you to exchange knowledge of destinations with others along your travels.
